How a full gym management platform got built, deployed, and populated with 222 real members — in a single afternoon.
A BJJ gym owner had been running his academy on their old software. It worked fine. Until it didn't.
Too expensive. Not built for what he actually needed. No import, no flexibility, no path forward. Every month he paid for features he didn't use and lacked the ones he needed most.
He was ready to move. He just needed somewhere to go.
That's when Nova and the team got involved.
Every gym management tool says they want your business. None of them make it easy to leave. That's the whole game — lock-in. Your member data, your billing history, your attendance records. All trapped behind an export button that gives you six messy CSV files and a prayer.
We built the import wizard to accept exactly those six files. Members, contacts, invoices, plans, attendance, waivers. Upload them. Set the cutoff dates — how far back you want the history. Preview what's coming in. Hit import.
222 members. Full profiles, belt ranks, billing status, family relationships — all of it landed in the new system. 2,853 invoices with dates, amounts, payment methods preserved. Attendance history intact. Waivers migrated.
It took one afternoon. Not because we cut corners. Because we built it right — dry-run preview, field mapping, cutoff selectors, error handling. Carlos built it. Roger verified it against the live URL. Nova made sure every piece connected.
A gym owner shouldn't need to be technical to leave their software. They should upload files, set dates, and walk away with everything they had before — plus everything they didn't.
We're accepting a small number of gyms for early access.
