A marketplace for BJJ technique videos. Any black belt can upload a single technique, set a price, and sell directly to students — no course required, no production team, no barrier to entry.
For the teacher: A black belt with 15 years of knowledge has two options. Build a full course — months of filming, editing, and marketing for a $200–$500 product — or post it for free on Instagram and watch it disappear in 24 hours. Most choose Instagram. The algorithm wins. The black belt earns nothing.
And even the ones who do build courses? Only the names you already know get traction. The black belt from a mid-size gym in Ohio doesn't have 100K followers. The platform doesn't exist for them.
For the student: You want to learn one specific guard pass. You know exactly which one. But the only way to get it is to buy a $300 course that covers 80 techniques you don't need, from an instructor you found through an algorithm, hoping the one move you want is actually in there.
There was no middle ground. No way to buy a single technique for a fair price. No way to sell one without an empire behind you.
BJJtek is the marketplace BJJ always needed. One technique. One price. Done.
March 14, 2026. One session. Concept → full design system → 30+ pages built → database seeded with 10 creators and 36 technique videos → Stripe live keys deployed → domain live.
Visiona built the design system from scratch — 310 CSS variables in tokens.css, a complete token layer covering color, spacing, typography, and every component state. Carlos built the frontend and backend, migrated every page to the system, wired Stripe, and deployed. Beta gate active on day one, creator registration open without auth.
How it works: creators register at /creator/register — no gatekeeping, open to any black belt. They upload a technique, write a description, set a price. Students browse by technique, position, or instructor. Buy one move. Watch it immediately. No subscription, no bundle, no course required.
That's the Novaiok playbook. We don't prototype. We ship.
BJJtek runs on a React + Vite frontend, Node/Express API, and PostgreSQL database — deployed on Fly.io behind Cloudflare. Stripe live keys from day one. No sandbox, no “coming soon,” no excuses.
The design system was Visiona’s job. She doesn’t spec — she builds. Every color, spacing unit, and component state lives in tokens.css. Light mode only. One mode, done right.
tokens.css file.#0c0e14. Not pure black — warmer, deeper, easier on the eyes during long sessions. This is the underdog thread that runs through everything Novaiok builds. Cana couldn't afford BJJ as a kid in Brazil. Now he runs an academy. The software he wished existed? He's building it.
BJJtek is the same energy. A black belt who can't afford a production team, a marketing budget, or a course platform? They don't need one anymore. Register as a creator. Upload a technique. Set a price. That's it.
Not a course platform. Not an Instagram reel that disappears. A marketplace where individual techniques have value — because the knowledge behind them took years to earn.
BJJtek is Novaiok's third live product. The pattern is undeniable: NovaiBot runs a real gym. NovaProof lives on Base Mainnet. BJJtek launched in a day. We don't pitch decks. We ship products.
